Terms of service
The present conditions of sale are concluded on the one hand by David Rosendo and on the other hand, by any natural or legal person wishing to proceed to a purchase via the website hereinafter referred to as “purchaser”.
The present conditions of sale aim at defining the contractual relations between David Rosendo and the purchaser and the conditions applicable to any purchase carried out through the merchant David Rosendo website, whether the purchaser is a professional or a consumer.
The acquisition of a good or a service through this website implies unreserved acceptance of the present conditions of sale by the purchaser.
These conditions of sale will prevail on all other General or specific, not expressly approved by David Rosendo.
David Rosendo reserves the right to modify his conditions of sale at any time. In this case, the applicable conditions will be those in force at the date of the order by the purchaser.
License, Updates & Upgrades
Updates for add-ons sold at rosendo.pt are freely available for one year after the original purchase date. After one year the addon will continue to work but in order to receive any future updates & support the purchaser must renew their license.
The purchaser cannot resell, distribute or give away their license to another party.
The license key is only transferable by contacting rosendo.pt and requesting an official transfer.
The license is valid for 1 year for 1 site.
Update & Upgrade
I provide software releases to fix problems uncovered in my current products. I provide bug fixes in two ways: product update and product upgrade.
Update is a program release featuring minor software improvements. Updates for the current software version are provided for any registered customers free of charge. Update example: from 3.X.X to 3.X.Y
Upgrade is a major program release (new version) featuring principal software improvements and new functionality and for that reason not eligible for upgrade for free. Registered customers in order to Upgrade have to purchase a new license. Upgrade example: 3.X.X to 4.X.X.
Support is available for one year after the original purchase date. The purchaser must then renew their license in order to receive future support.
License holders are prohibited of modifying plugin code/files without the owners consent as well as posting documentation or screenshots of support content on external websites, social media outlets etc. Violation of this may result in immediate termination of the support license and access to future updates.
All support for David Rosendo plugins are provided as a free service at www.rosendo.pt. Purchasing an addon from this site does not gain you priority over response times on the support system. No support will be given to un-registred licenses keys, if detected all support will be lost.
Support will be given provided the issue raised is valid and unique. Support will not be given to questions relating to general PHP functionality or those that feature aggressive tones. Please note that WordPress has a big history of conflicts between plugins.
No support will be given to poorly constructed themes, that dont follow the WordPress Themes coding standards:
- Use well-structured, error-free PHP and valid HTML. See WordPress Coding Standards.
- Use clean, valid CSS. See CSS Coding Standards.
- Follow design guidelines in Site Design and Layout.
Rosendo and its add-ons are sold in the hope that they will be useful, but without any warranty. I offer a guarantee that Rosendo and its add-ons will function on a clean install of WooCommerce in the required versions as stated in my requirements. I do not guarantee it will function with all third party plugins or web browsers. I assume no responsibility for any plugin compatibility conflicts or data loss which may occur from installing my plugin or its add-ons.
The seller, in the process of selling online, is only bound by an obligation of means; its responsibility shall not be held liable for a damage resulting from the use of the products such as data loss, hacking, virus, rupture of the service, or other unintended problems.
The purchaser is strongly encouraged to backup his WordPress site before using the products.
You are prohibited from claiming any intellectual or exclusive ownership of any of my products. All products are the property of Rosendo.
I reserve the right to modify or discontinue a product at my discretion. The prices of Rosendo products are subject to change without prior notice.
You must ensure that your environment meets the following minimum conditions:
- Original WordPress install
- WordPress 4.0 or later
- PHP 5.6.30 or later
- Requires enabled TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 as a default secure protocols
My plugins don’t support/work with the following WordPress installations:
- Bitnami WordPress Stack
Limitations of SVI PRO
- SVI PRO replaces your default theme settings/options for the image & thumbnails area so don’t expect to use any of your theme features for this area.
- SVI PRO doesn’t support/work with Bitnami WordPress installs.
- Not compatible with custom product pages built with Builders (ex: Visual Composer, UX, Builder, Unyson, etc.), these Builders completely take over the design and hooks of the pages running them, so if a builder is applied to a product page SVI will not be accessible.
- SVI has not special integration/support/work with external import systems or API integrations.
- SVI doesn’t make use the images set on variations tab for any action.
- SVI doesn’t offer support for third party plugins.
Have doubts about my plugin?
When you purchase my products you are granted immediate access to them INCLUDING THE FULL SOURCE CODE. This means that it is impossible for me to process a true return the way you can with a physical product. When I issue a refund it means that you have effectively obtained my products for free. Thus, to prevent abuse I have adopted a strict no refund policy. The digital products are not refundable.
If the purchaser encounters any issue in the use of the products, he can contact the support at rosendo.pt.
You must allow me to try and help solve any problem you have by opening a support ticket. You must work with me in good faith to allow me to resolve the issue for you. This means that you must cooperate with me when I ask you to activate and deactivate plugins and themes, turn on debugging to generate log files, retrieve and send me log files, communicate with your hosting provider when I request you to do so and allow me to access your system (both the WordPress dashboard and your back-end via FTP) if I feel the need to be more hands-on to trouble-shoot the issue.
NOTE: No refunds will be granted if you simply decide not to use the purchased products or you feel a feature is missing. I stand behind my products and will assist you in solving any problem you have, but I also expect you to adequately understand what you are purchasing and why. Before finalizing your purchase make sure you read the entire product description and any documentation available my website – this will allow you to better understand the product you are purchasing. I encourage buyers to use the free version (latest version available) before buying. If the purchaser encounters any issue in the use of the products, he can contact the support at www.rosendo.pt
No Refunds will also NOT be offered if your environment is not running the minimum versions of PHP, WordPress and un-registred licenses keys, if detected all support will be lost.
Items that have not been downloaded
If you have not downloaded a purchased item within 3 months from the date of purchase, you may be eligible for refund.
You can request an invoice about an addon purchased on www.rosendo.pt via the ticket system with subject INVOICE. The buyer will have to supply a valid EU VAT Number and company name. Receipts will only be available for request until end of year of the initial date of purchase with the date of the request & not the purchase.
